For a number of months we have been praying, discussing, and listening to one another about the development of an aligned Sunday service. A church survey demonstrated an overwhelming level of support from each service and age group. Our guiding coalition experimented with some service templates on July 21 and August 11. Feedback from both of those services has been extremely positive.

On Sunday, September 8, we will move forward with an aligned Sunday service. An aligned service means our 9:30 and 11:00 service will follow an identical structure.

From the very beginning this initiative has come from a place of prayer. We want to work together in unity as our diverse family pursues the mandate God has given us to equip disciples and transform our community. Please keep praying.

This change directly benefits our ministry to families. It is our hope that many families will consider shifting their schedules in order to commit to the 9:30 service. This change provides more opportunities for the generations and cultures of our church to connect. Starting on September 8 we will have a 30 minute connection time from 10:30 to 11:00 every Sunday.

We want to continue to hear from you as we follow Jesus together. Please submit your comments in the suggestion box in the foyer or email feedback@brentviewbaptist.com.
