Prayer Spaces

We press into the Jesus-Centred life by connecting with God through prayer. Join us.

Overview

We aren’t called to live in the world of ideas alone. Rather, we can live in what Jesus called “the kingdom of God.” This space overlaps with our world in all kinds of interesting ways. Part of being a kingdom citizen is joining in the divine dance of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The kingdom is about serving and becoming more like the King. Prayer is a space where this sort of transformation takes root deep in our souls.

Communion with God is the foundational posture from which all of Jesus-centred living flows. Prayer in its various forms immerses our lives in the Story of God. Through prayer we worship God, advocate for others, invite the Spirit to surprise us, and grow in our capacity to live like Jesus wherever we go. We have several prayer spaces throughout the week with various expressions and emphases.

FAQs

Do I have to sign up in advance or can I just “show up?”

Most people simply show up to a prayer space. If it is happening online, make sure that you have the appropriate Zoom link in advance so that you can easily join. For our Monday prayers, a document is provided by clicking “info to join” above.

Are there ever ‘breaks’ or weeks off for certain prayer spaces?

Yes. We tend to run these on a cycle. We will try to keep this page up-to-date with the most relevant information. Also, our newsletter is another way to stay informed.
