The Students of Brentview are back! We are excited to launch the next season of youth this year and are ready to go! For those in grades 6-12 youth, we are inviting you to join our community as we do life together.

Wednesday Nights
An engaging weekly gathering of students from grades 6—12. We meet from 7pm—8:30pm at the church (see our calendar above). We will have small groups, games, and worship as a part of our usual Wednesday nights!
Friday Event Nights
Every month we hope to have a night of fun and excitement planned out for the Students. This gives them the opportunity to invite friends and to experience a Jesus-centered community in a fun and new way. This could be laser tagging, fun nights at the church, or going on an amazing retreat!
Sunday Mornings
Sunday Mornings we have a very exciting Jr. High One Group that meets after worship! In this space we allow the students to discover their spiritual gifts, and what they are passionate about. We encourage the Sr. High to become involved at Brentview on Sunday mornings such as kids ministry, production teams or with the worship band.

HOW CAN I SUPPORT STUDENT MINISTRY?
Student Ministry is all about creating safe spaces for youth to feel a sense of belonging, ask big questions, learn about their identity in Christ, and dream about their future. If you are interested in a role on the Student Ministry team, there are lots of ways to get involved! Email Tyson to find out more about these teams:
Student Ministry Leadership
The Student Ministry Leader is the most important role in student ministry! As Student Ministry Leader you are a friend and mentor to a small group of students. You’ll have a ton of fun together, learn together, and encourage each other. Student Ministry Leaders are the ones that will be discussing some of the most important issues going on today and making a difference in the Student’s lives.
Student Ministry Teaching Team
The Student Ministry Teaching Team is all about providing solid biblical teaching to the Students of Brentview. There are some Student Ministry Leaders as well as Tyson on this team, and we are always looking to expand! It is a firm belief that Students respond well to different voices all guiding them along a journey as they learn and grow in their faith. Contact Tyson to learn more!
Student Ministry Event Team
The Student Ministry Leadership Team is all about the FUN! This team will plan occasional fun events for students like the Christmas Banquet, Grad, and occasional Friday night events. If you are interested in getting involved in Student Ministries in a behind the scenes way, this is for you!

How can I get involved?

What can my child expect coming to youth?
We want to provide a safe and fun environment for the kids to come in and have fun and learn! We will have weekly nights of games, worship, and small group time, and a time to talk about the bible and discuss some important questions.
Can we meet outside of Wednesday Nights?
Yes! We encourage our youth leaders to take an active part in the students lives throughout the week, not just on Wednesdays. If you want your student to meet with Tyson or their youth leader, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
